Soul warmer for rainy summer days: custard
The summer has unfortunately only arrived in our climes as expected.
Does not matter, because then there is at least something warm, delicious, the soul and the smoldering Finger Warming - Homemade Custard!
There's nothing as simple as homemade vanilla pudding with no teabags and e-numbers.
I swear it's really ratzfatz and it just tastes incredibly delicious
And most of the stuff you have in the house anyway.
If someone feels like warming without chocolate, here's the recipe for 2 big or 4 small bowls of vanilla pudding.
- 500 ml of milk
- 1 vanilla pod
Pour milk into a saucepan, scrape out vanilla pod and put pod in give the milk, boil it once.
- approx. 35 g cornstarch (depending on the desired strength)
- 50 g sugar
- 75 ml milk
- 2 egg yolks
This Add the ingredients to a blender jar and mix with the blender to a smooth cream.
Remove cooked milk from the heat, stir in the starch mixture with the whisk, then simmer gently again.
Tastes hot right here deliciously.
But it can also be set and chilled well.
